Planning a dinner with family and friends, or simply celebrating the harvest season? Here is a rustic autumn table decoration that is sure to fascinate your guests: an arrangement of flowers, candles, and fruit.
Rustic autumn table decoration – suitable for Thanksgiving

For rustic autumn table decorations you will need autumn leaves, fresh or dried; autumn fruit such as pears and apples; twine; mini pumpkins; lanterns; a plastic base; water containers; and, of course, a wooden box. You can build the box yourself, or reuse an old wine crate or drawer. If you build the wooden box yourself, you can divide it into several compartments. If you do not have lanterns, place candles in jam jars. An optional glass-and-iron lantern can also be placed on the table. Do not paint the wood. Set several glasses on the bottom of the box and fill them with water for the flowers. Dried flowers can be used for the autumn season, but we recommend fresh flowers: they always look better on the table and create a cozy atmosphere.
Rustic autumn table decoration – efficiently and comfortably

If you want to make a flower arrangement, place the plastic base on the bottom of the box and distribute the water containers evenly. This keeps the flowers from sitting too close to the candles. Place the candles in the center and surround them with fruit and mini pumpkins. Decorate the edge of the box with autumn leaves or vine leaves. The biggest advantage of the design is that individual components can be replaced quickly and easily. This rustic autumn table decoration can later become a winter arrangement, be used on the garden table in spring, or serve as a flower pot in summer.
