Creative table design welcomes clients and partners
The Gensler Architects studio became world famous with its daring projects. First impressions play a major role, so the designers wanted to surprise clients and partners and create a positive response to the fundamental principles of their work. The innovative design of the table where guests are greeted by the architectural firm for the first time, impresses with its careful choice of materials and architectural appearance. The table has several functions. First, it offers a large sitting area where visitors can wait for their appointments. On the other hand, people can stop there as they pass by for additional information. There is enough space for many architecture magazines and publications, giving clients an overview of innovations.
Table design combines functionality with an impressive look
The table design was made from the special material HI-MACS. The surface is white and very polished. The wooden frame, however, is rustic. The mix of minimalism and Scandinavian style gives the design an eclectic look and manages to surprise clients in a positive way, exactly what the designers wanted to achieve with this project. The highlight of the design is its special spiral shape. At one end of the table, many sub-shelves provide ample storage space. The shelves are partly hidden in the body and sometimes visible. Depending on where you stand, the table may look completely different. This gives the design a unique appearance.
