Shaping Silestone is an innovative freestanding kitchen presented at Milan Design Week 2012. Designed by Brazilian brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana in collaboration with Cosentino Group, it was inspired by the compact multifunctionality of a Swiss Army knife.

This autonomous multifunctional kitchen combines sculptural aesthetics, technology, and practical use. Although the form is unusual, it is designed for everyday kitchen life. The modular piece brings several cooking and preparation zones into one compact concept.
A Multifunctional Kitchen Inspired By A Pocket Knife
The freestanding kitchen includes a counter, stove, table, and sink. It uses Silestone work surfaces by Cosentino and an Integrity sink. Silestone, made from natural quartz, is valued for its resistance to stains, impact, scratches, and low liquid absorption, making it especially suitable for kitchens.
A New Generation Kitchen System
High-quality old walnut front panels underline the exclusivity of the kitchen. With its unusual sculptural presence, the piece becomes an eye-catcher and a setting for culinary experimentation.
Cosentino Group, known for quartz surfaces, collaborated with the Campana Brothers for this project. The São Paulo-based designers work with furniture manufacturers around the world, and their design objects have appeared in modern art museums and received numerous awards.
