Turn an old planter into a table
A few months ago, the creator’s neighbor moved away and threw out a large ceramic pot. She knew the large planter was beautiful and worth saving. Her garden terrace was full of flowering planters, but it lacked tables. As a result, she turned the flower pot into a table in minutes. The design is decorated with beautiful shells and feels custom-made.
The materials are very simple and not too expensive: a large flower pot, pool-filter sand, shells or other decorations, a round glass tabletop and some non-slip material.
Turn a planter into a table quickly
Fill the flower pot with pool-filter sand. It is cheap, clean and white. You can use the same type for vases or other arrangements. You can add decorative colored sand or granules on top. The total cost depends on the size of the pot, because very large planters require more filling.
Then collect or buy beautiful decorations such as shells, starfish and sea glass. Use them to decorate the top of the table. When decorating, try to use elements that bring back memories. This makes your design more meaningful and sentimental. You can also involve your children in the project by letting them arrange the shells and paint a soft heart with their fingers.
The next step is to attach four self-adhesive rubber feet to the top of the flower pot. Now it is time to place the glass tabletop.
