The KAWS design studio recently designed a creative LED light bulb in conjunction with the Standard Hotel in Los Angeles. The goal was to create a modern alternative to traditional accent lighting for nightclubs, hotels, and bars. The limited edition of 1000 sets sold out in a few days. But what is the big attraction of the bulbs? They are very simple: the design is inspired by Thomas Edison's first light bulb. A small XX-shaped detail gives the lamps a modern twist. The bulbs are available in three colors: purple, green, and red.
