The pleasant sound of running water relaxes and soothes the senses. Here is a quick guide to building a bamboo fountain yourself. The design is suitable for the garden or balcony, works beautifully in shady areas, and offers a light, natural alternative to a stone garden fountain.
Bamboo Fountain – Materials

For the bamboo fountain, you will need bamboo canes, tubing, a stainless-steel or plastic basin, a small indoor fountain pump with a capacity of about 700 l/h and a maximum lift height of 1.20 to 1.30 m, wire mesh, 3-4 bricks, river stones for decoration, wire, a shovel, a drill, and a saw. If you already have a garden pond, you can install the bamboo structure there.
Building a Bamboo Fountain Yourself – Instructions

Choose the location of the bamboo fountain. Dig a hole and set the basin inside. To keep it stable, support the basin with bricks. Cover the top with wire mesh and arrange stones over it. Drill two holes in the bamboo canes and tie them together with wire. Insert the hose through the bamboo and connect it to the pump. That is all you need.
