1 Canterbury is a modern house in Canterbury, Australia. It is a project by the Melbourne-based architecture firm Canny. The house has a rather modest facade, but the courtyard and interior impress with a stylish, timeless effect. The architecture combines wood, stone and glass, and surprises with a small wooden bridge that appears to float in the middle of the pool.

With four bedrooms, underground parking for four cars, 2.5 bathrooms, a wine cellar and four living areas, it represents everything a client could imagine in a modern home. The latest products and technologies can be seen throughout the house, including a Jetmaster fireplace with barbecue in the pool house, an elevator and specially designed glass costing $15,000, which provides a beautiful view of the pool from the home office. No expense was spared in creating this polished home.
