Life is beautiful in all its forms. This could be the motto of anyone who decides to create an Asian-style garden. Here, you can make small changes over time without losing the overall harmony. Green leaves and rounded shapes dominate and blend beautifully. In Japanese-style garden design, there are no ordinary stacked beds. The ground is covered with green carpet plants (Sagina) or with gravel and pebbles.
Garden design in Japanese style: smooth and light

The color palette in an Asian garden often creates contrast between red and green, with pink and orange also used. You will find colored elements and combinations of different materials. A variety of calming green tones is fundamental to oriental-style garden design. The picture is completed by carefully pruned conifers such as pine (Pinus), cypress (Chamaecyparis), and thuja (Thuja).
Japanese Garden – What are the elements?

An interesting living combination appears in shades of white and green, for example with variegated dogwood – a beautiful tree known in English as the "wedding cake tree" and in German by a name connected with Baumkuchen. Japanese maple (Acer palmatum), including white-leafed and flamingo varieties, is a classic tree for oriental-style gardens and delights us with green and red leaves.

Tip: If you want to create a Japanese-style garden, plant evergreen rhododendrons. In May they bloom beautifully, and during the rest of the year they enchant with lasting green foliage.

Country-style garden: natural and peaceful

Country gardens are always beautiful and very comfortable. How can you explain this? Perhaps it is because there are so many fragrant flowers, such as roses and lavender. A fireplace can also be a wonderful and memorable part of a country garden. The color palette here is largely determined by sensual shades such as purple and pink. Ornamental onion (Allium), peony (Paeonia), lupins, and hydrangeas all fit this style. Contrasting yellow and orange flowers are represented by tiger lily (Lilium), yellow daylily (Hemerocallis), marigolds, sunflowers, and chrysanthemums. All these flowers love light and grow well in soil with good water permeability.

Our tip: you can create a fragrant garden and turn it into a resting place for you and your family, where you can spend pleasant hours alone or together and enjoy your free time. We hope you enjoy it.

Dear friends,
Your designs are very nice but please add some ideas for “Terrace Garden”, especially small one (I have 300 sq ft spce only) in my home (I’m from India). Also advise on avoiding seepage in roof (floor for garden) below to show inside ground floor which stain and spoil colour on walls inside.
