The home she selected is in Dalaro, near Stockholm.

Although it has the whiteness and brightness typical of Nordic interiors, the neutral palette, muted gray walls, antique furniture, and framed pictures also recall the warmth and restraint of Flemish style. Antique furniture and objects sit comfortably beside Ikea pieces. The framed boards in the living room and the patterned cushions add a subtle cabinet-of-curiosities feeling.

It is a beautiful mix, creating a gentle and peaceful atmosphere that gives the whole home its special charm. At the entrance, a gray-and-white checkerboard pattern is painted directly onto the floor, echoing the discreet wallpaper pattern nearby. It is an original idea worth remembering.
