A Letterpress Print of the Brooklyn Bridge

Drawing, lettering, and typography: designer Cameron Moll is no stranger to this world. The idea is to reconstruct the Brooklyn Bridge as a letterpress typographic print, something that seems simple but is not. The work is mostly done in Adobe Illustrator, and while some sections can be copied and pasted, around 70 to 80 percent of the characters must be positioned, enlarged or reduced, and rotated one by one.

The designer turned to Kickstarter, the well-known American crowdfunding platform for creative projects. To understand the final goal, you can look at his previous typographic reconstructions of the Colosseum and the Salt Lake Temple.
