Panorama House is a modern house in Chungbuk, South Korea, designed by the architecture firm Hoon Moon in 2011. With 209.12 m2 of space, the house is large enough for a family with four children and includes an interesting feature: a large wooden staircase with a slide and integrated library. For the clients, it was important to create a comfortable home where the children could play, read, and study. This architectural solution suits them perfectly.

The rugged terrain offers steep slopes and stunning views. The house is located in a beautiful newly built neighborhood, so the architects decided to use the view to their advantage.
Modern house with a beautiful view

The shape of the land called for long, slender architecture with a facade that would frame changing views. The large multifunctional staircase plays a major role, combining shelves, a reading room, a home theater, a slide, and more.
Kitchen and dining room

The kitchen and dining room form another important area where the family can gather. The TV is stored in a small niche. The attic is the place with the best view, and it also serves as a playroom for the children.
Underfloor heating and large windows

Emphasis is placed on the facade and its curved lines, which create an interesting illusion. Windows of different sizes offer different perspectives. Korean homes often have heated floors, so it is not unusual for residents to sit on the floor rather than on furniture.
