Furniture design by Kevin Michael Burns also reflects the creativity of his family. The Little Mountain Whale Desk, shown above, was designed by Kevin’s wife, who is an artist and costume designer. The blue band that defines the table’s shape sets the mood and atmosphere of the room. The modern furniture piece has solid walnut legs, while brass details and hand-painted drawers complete the exclusive look. With six storage compartments and a classic desk form, it is one of his mid-century-modern-inspired creations.
