Modular furniture can be beautiful, adaptable, and practical at the same time. The Mangas Space collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for GAN, expands the look of knitted rugs into a coordinated family of carpets, poufs, stools, and seating modules that bring a cozy mood to the room.
Modular furniture offers freedom for individual design

GAN modular furniture can be used for sitting, lounging, leaning back, and relaxing in many different ways. The Spanish manufacturer presented the GAN Spaces concept at Maison & Objet Paris, with Mangas as one of its expressive modular families. Knitted textures and rugs are central to the idea, giving users creative freedom. The modules combine wool surfaces, foam filling, and wooden bases, with patterns inspired by hand-knitted textiles.
Create a relaxed atmosphere with modular furniture

Patricia Urquiola chose a warm, varied color palette for the collection, including yellow, coral, soft pink, ivory, cream, and gray. Combined with cross-shaped and geometric rugs, the modular pieces stand out at their best and create a warm, harmonious atmosphere.
A unique design with a characteristic texture

GAN’s modular furniture can be combined with a wide range of rugs. Whether rectangular, square, or cross-shaped, the final arrangement depends on personal taste.
