We present a collection of rattan garden furniture that brings the exotic touch of Africa with it. The seating arrangements are colorful and attract attention to themselves by their sinuous shapes and bright colors.
Colorful Rattan garden furniture brings exotic touch of Africa
The collection of rattan garden furniture is called Dala and was designed by Stephen Burks for Dedon. Dala comes from Senegal and means – do not create. Three contested seats – Deckchair and ottoman that can be used as tables, make up the collection. The structure of the furniture is built in traditional African style and handmade. The designer has tried a creative way to combine the techniques of Africa with modern materials.
Rattan garden – real eye-catcher on the terrace
First images were made of aluminum for the production of rattan garden furniture. From recycled packaging material was made for the upholstery. Polyethylene plastic is made in three colors – dark red, blue and green. The furniture was divided accordingly into three series-fire, grass and lake. The fibers have a different thickness – as leather texture. The furniture has a modern look and are very convenient – they are extremely lightweight and durable. They are proof that you can produce creative and fashionable furniture from sustainable materials with little imagination. Get an overview of the collection through the photos below.
