Naked Ring minimalist wall lamp
The blown-glass bulb not only encloses the lamp’s electrical components, but also refracts the light and focuses attention dramatically on the structure of the wall lamp. A surprising prism effect appears where the bushing meets the cord. The bulb is handmade in Los Angeles and assembled in the designer’s studio.
Minimalist wall lamp
The Naked Ring wall lamp updates the original minimalist design with a discreet, refined brass ring. It is available with a powder-coated steel wall plate and in a plug-in version with a 7-meter lamp cord, switch, and Achille Castiglioni plug.
Bulb
Creator Brendan Ravenhill, based in Los Angeles, finds inspiration in the beauty of functional tools. He founded his own studio in 2009, armed with degrees in sculpture and industrial design from Oberlin and RISD. His lighting and furniture collection is characterized by a skillful balance of modern simplicity and robustness.
