The Furnishings Impress with Original Decorations
The apartment is in The Residence, a former office building overlooking Hyde Park in Sydney, Australia. The building was converted for residential use, and the apartment enjoys views of the city skyline, Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral, and the harbour. A large balcony with a comfortable dining area extends everyday life outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows open the living room to the view, while the interior remains simple and elegant. Natural materials dominate the scheme: upholstered seating, a kitchen with a wooden bar, and wooden shelving are among the highlights of the furniture. Careful space planning adds comfort, and muted shades create a calm atmosphere.
A Restrained Interior Decorated with Art
The neutral palette, simple furniture, and furnishings create the perfect backdrop for imaginative decoration. Each element is carefully coordinated, giving the apartment a unified look while still allowing personality to come through. Modern paintings and caricatures animate the walls, while accessories, sculptural objects, and lamps add a more exotic note.
