Euroom: Pure Shapes and Subtle Think From Ropes Architects

Euroom is a 35-square-meter room added to an early-twentieth-century villa. The project aims to create a space for photography and painting exhibitions where natural light is as simple and controlled as possible, while the surrounding plants play a central role. The result is a small sanctuary enclosed by translucent glass, capable of bringing in the full richness of external light while also dressing it with the reflections and shadows of nearby trees in constant movement.

Photographer Euro Rotelli describes the new space as a place designed for photographs, yet too small to be only a gallery and too rich in light, shadow, water, stone, and reflections to be reduced to a single function. It may become a gallery, an abstract work, a fountain, a small garden, or something else entirely.
