Autumn makes you sleepy,
daylight lasts only a moment,
then breaks quickly and disappears:
a shining metaphor for life itself…
Coloring autumn is never easy. It is easy to fall into the usual clichés: yellowed leaves, the first fog, a veil of sadness at the end of summer, and so on.
Instead, I liked this illustrator. Her name is Dan-ah Kim and she lives in Brooklyn. She plays with autumn colors and magic through fantasy elements, an Eastern flavor, and a dreamlike atmosphere.
And then, let us not try to resist when autumn engraves a slower rhythm into the days. It is simply in their nature.
