The collaboration between Italian furniture brand Kartell and Swiss bathroom manufacturer Laufen produced a complete bathroom collection that puts new materials center stage. The project was led by award-winning designers Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba.
Complete bathroom collection – Kartell by Laufen

The collaboration includes the development, manufacture and distribution of an innovative bathroom collection. The bathroom collection is sold under the name "Kartell by Laufen" and includes freestanding washbasins, toilets, bathroom furniture, showers, taps, bathroom accessories and lighting.
Sustainable bathroom design

The innovative bathroom elements are designed for maximum flexibility and can be adapted to different preferences. For the new bathroom furniture, Laufen used SaphirKeramik, a ceramic material that allows thinner, lighter forms than conventional sanitary ceramic while remaining highly durable.
Design, quality and technological innovation

The furniture and accessories use transparent polycarbonate to create lightness and flexibility. They are characterized by simple shapes and restrained neutral colors. Against a white base, expressive contrasts can be created, for example with a strong wall color. Blue, orange and white elements can be combined freely or used as playful accents.
Sophisticated bathroom furniture that is chic and functional

Laufen has produced ceramic sanitaryware for more than 120 years and continues to focus on environmentally responsible production. Kartell, a family business with more than 60 years of design history, helped revolutionize furniture through the use of plastics.
