The owner of this luxury villa in Beverly Hills gave McClean Design the task of modernizing and expanding a 1970s building. The end result speaks for itself: after renovation, the house presents a new minimalist look.
Expanded luxury villa: Beverly Hills house offers more living space
Although the original building stood on one of the most sought-after sites in Beverly Hills, the owner could not fully enjoy the beautiful view because the old windows were narrow and did not let in enough light. The architects therefore decided to open the south facade and create a seamless connection between the living room and the garden through sliding glass doors.
Another challenge was the layout. The available living space was more than adequate, but the owner wanted two living areas, a closet, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom, while also asking whether another room could be added. For this reason, the experts at McClean Design created a spacious area that brings the kitchen, dining room, and living room together. The remaining space was then divided into two bedrooms.
The luxury villa already looks complete, but the architects were also working on an expansion project with two additional volumes, including a spa area.
