A poodle who coughs, at least according to the playful spirit behind the name.

The story is simple, but the results are full of character. Mr. Nico was born from the friendship of five creative people: graphic designers, an architect, a copywriter and a fashion designer, each bringing a different background and visual language to the project.

The group combines Italian, Catalan and Brazilian influences with the aim of creating original, well-designed products that are rigorously handmade. The tone is careful and crafted, but also light, imaginative and deliberately fun.
The products are designed, made and screen-printed by hand in the workshop in Fano. Jewelry, textiles and small accessories all share the same mix of graphic design, craft and humor.
The Facets line includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings made from laser-cut wooden elements, then hand-painted. The poplar wood comes from responsibly managed sources and is finished with non-toxic, water-based paint. Each piece is presented in packaging colored by hand in the same tones. Some necklaces use magnetic closures and can be joined to create a longer chain.

The collection is not limited to wood. Mr. Nico also works with textiles: pillows, aprons, bags, wall hangings and cotton T-shirts printed by hand. The Barcelona cases are especially charming, with original drawings inspired by early twentieth-century floor tiles from homes in Barcelona.

Among the most playful pieces is Cinderella, a series of old wooden shoe lasts from different periods, transformed by hand-painting and pyrography.
