Wall clock

Elegant pheasant and partridge feathers move in a quiet rhythm. "Feather Clock" is an artful wall clock designed by French designer Marie-Aurore Stiker-Metral for L'Atelier d'exercices. The designer wall clock turns the passing of time into a poetic image, reminding us how quickly it moves and how easily small moments can be missed.

How Time Flies – A Designer Clock with Bird Feathers

Design

There is something curious about feathers: they feel light, soft, and protective, yet they outlast the bird itself. In this clock, pheasant and partridge feathers become the hands, moving quietly behind glass. The bird feathers are carefully sourced for this wall clock design, which has a diameter of about 30.5 cm, a depth of 5 cm, and a silent clock mechanism. It is made with domed glass and painted wood. Against the black background, the delicate feathers stand out, and an eyelet on the back allows it to be mounted on the wall.

Feather Clock sets pheasant and partridge feathers in motion. Elegant, simple, and unobtrusive, it gives the room a refined accent. Inspired by art and the cabinet of curiosities, Marie-Aurore Stiker-Metral created a poetic wall clock in which each element is reduced to pure form and natural material. The design invites us to think about how we invest, or waste, our time.
