In Porto there are excellent guided on romantic paths and streets of the historic center. Massarelos during the nineteenth century was known as one of the areas that the British chose for their installation location. In the idyllic setting are still felt a peaceful, rural atmosphere.

In the renovation of the house was the traditional look of the facade of importance. The changes should be kept to a minimum. The exterior looks now more passive. Vertical glass panels offer more visual depth and a sense of dimension.

Architects Ezzo received the original character of the building, with great sensitivity and yet integrated on the basic elements of modern interior design. The industrial-inspired interior evokes simple comfort, simplicity and elegance. Concrete has been used in interior decoration. The interior design provides a perfect view of a small area, as well as storage space cleverly hidden. Interiors communicate with a central wooden staircase.
