A small but very cute and practical prefabricated wooden house was recently presented by the Swedish company Kenio. The small wooden hut is called Friluftsstugan, or outdoor hut. It was designed by Johan Svartnäs.
Prefabricated wooden holiday home immersed in nature
This prefabricated house made of wood can function both as a garden shed and as a holiday home. The design consists of several prefabricated parts that are assembled on site like a puzzle. The roof system is the highlight of the design: sliding rails provide flexibility, offering shade during hot summer days and extending over the small wooden deck. Two glass walls and glass doors open the home to its surroundings. In bad weather, the roof system can be extended so the sturdy wooden structure is protected from the wind. The lodge has a total area of 15 square meters, more than enough for a weekend in the countryside or in the garden.

The interior of the prefabricated wooden house is covered with untreated wood. Wood panels create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The walls, ceiling and floor are insulated so that the house can be used throughout the year. The building has electricity.
