Splinter Works Design Studio created "Vessel" – an exclusive carbon-fiber bath that hangs like a hammock between two walls. We have already seen other successful furniture combinations, many of which combine several functions to optimize work processes. The bathroom furniture design presented here, however, is entirely dedicated to relaxation.
Furniture design gives a heavenly feeling
The designers’ innovative idea came suddenly when they noticed a relationship between two symbols of rest and relaxation: the hammock and the bathtub. The result is an innovative furniture design that creates a complete change of scenery from everyday reality.
Modern technology in innovative furniture design
The hanging bath gives a sense of freedom and tranquility. Elegant and robust at the same time, this relaxation vessel offers comfort at a higher level. The innovative furniture design was developed specifically for use in wet rooms – the tub does not touch the ground. It is secured to the wall with stainless steel fasteners. The mounting emphasizes the elegant curve of the tub. A suitable floor drain is available beneath it. As an extra feature, Vessel can be drained by "siphon".
Hammock Bath – 2 in 1
High-quality carbon fiber was used to produce the bath. The material is known for resistance, strength, and the ability to be molded into complex curves. The tub is insulated with a foam core to prevent temperature loss.
Bathtub with bright curved shapes
The 2.7-meter-long bath is more than an ordinary bathtub and creates extra space for movement and comfort. Custom sizes and colors are available on request. The model was available in red, blue, yellow, pink, bronze, and silver.
