"Mobile Hospitality" is the winning project from Design Month Graz in Austria. The mobile kitchen was designed by the duo Chmara.Rosinke, who traveled with it through several European cities and delighted surprised pedestrians.
Mobile kitchen promotes a new fun and food culture

"Mobile Hospitality" won first place in the Prix du Design 2015 EOS, Neue Wiener Werkstätte. Designers Maciej Chmara and Ania Rosinke explored "meta-mobility – our nomadic lives," and their project was selected from 297 entries from 20 countries. Second and third place went to Germany. The concept is based on a revival of food culture, with the jury under the direction of Vito Acconci. The mobile kitchen embodies an alternative to consumer culture and places social gratification above material ownership. Growing demand for DIY furniture is treated as a standard part of the design and production strategy.
Mobile kitchen offers a new design solution for urban gardening

The mobile kitchen is as simple as possible, yet it contains everything necessary: a sink, three gas burners, a buffet surface, a foot pump for washing water, a table with stools, dishes, and even fresh herbs. Two handles let you pull the kitchen like a wheelbarrow.

Bright kitchen utensils and high-quality solid wood create an elegant contrast. The mobile kitchen is ideal for urban spaces and urban nomads who want to eat in the park.
