Tinker lamp yourself – original idea with hangers

We present a very original idea that is still very affordable. Now you can choose between a hanger lamp hack with a personal touch – or hang your favorite T-shirt so everyone can admire it. The lamp can be made with simple materials that almost everyone has at home.

Make a lamp yourself – transform a hanger

To make this original lamp yourself, you will need the following materials: hangers, 2 bolts, bamboo, a wooden board measuring about 1.5 x 9.5 cm, a utility knife, a marker, an energy-saving bulb / ask a lighting store to recommend a safe, energy-efficient alternative / and suitable adhesive.

Instructions:

Select a sturdy hanger. Wooden or plastic hangers are suitable. Measure the length of the hanger. Cut the wooden board two centimeters shorter than the hanger.

Mark the center of the wooden board with a pencil. Measure the diameter of the bulb. Draw a circle around the center of the board. Cut out the hole.

Cut the ends of the wooden board, as shown in the picture / about 1 cm on each side /. Round the edges with a knife.

Fasten the hanger to the wooden board.

Attach the bulb / or the lighting you have selected as suitable / to the board.

Now you only need a transparent white linen or cotton shirt. Done!
