Country style is traditionally associated with simple rustic furniture and natural fabrics. Rustic furniture brings country charm into an apartment or house. Here we present an extremely creative wood design that adds a natural touch to the interior. This bathroom vanity by John Koering in Arizona has a simple look and a rich history.
Made from old wine barrels – bathroom vanity

This rustic bathroom sink is actually an old wine barrel that was used for many years in wine production. The barrel was found in Napa Valley, California. It was first dried for two years, then completely dismantled, cleaned, disinfected, and reassembled by professional craftsmen. The basic shape of the barrel has been preserved. A hole for the drain was drilled into the back of the cabinet, and two front doors were fitted with pivot hinges. The sink is made of copper and has a polished bronze finish. The copper tones and the painted surface of the basin work well together. Finally, a brass faucet was installed. Its antique look completes the overall design.
Bathroom vanity design combines tradition and modernity

This practical piece is handmade in Arizona. It is a great example of how old objects can be transformed into modern furniture – a trend known around the world as upcycling. The basin will complement a bathroom when paired with stone tiles. For maximum effect, add a vintage-style mirror. With this rustic bathroom furniture, the creator has found another use for wine barrels, giving the bathroom character and individuality.
