When designer Daniele Lago created the Air table, he wanted a dining table that expressed the rustic beauty of reclaimed wood while radiating lightness, modernity, and simplicity. The tabletop is made from carefully selected reclaimed wood elements, chosen for their distinctive grain. As a surprising extra, the solid wood top is set on safety-glass legs. From some viewpoints, the transparent support begins to disappear, giving the impression that the table is hovering above the floor. The solid wood tables from the Air collection offer a unique encounter between two worlds of contrasting colors and materials.
Solid wood tables embody tradition and modernity

Light and heavy, transparent and strong, flexible and structured, warm and cold, natural and artificial: the Air table is a design full of contrasts that becomes the heart of any room. The unique structure of the wooden panels, which seem to "float," reveals the soul of the wood. Solid wood tables by Lago invite you to enjoy pleasant hours and memorable evenings with friends and family.
First-class design and innovation

The idea was developed in two additional versions. There are 31 colors of polished glass to choose from. The Air Wildwood table, for example, is made of oak and fitted with glass legs. It reportedly took 22 prototypes before the table reached its current form.
