Even beginners can make this simple Advent wreath for the door. Evergreen branches and red berries are perfect for the winter season and give guests a warm, friendly welcome. You can also use this fresh wreath above the fireplace or in another part of the house. Lemon leaves, blueberry foliage, cedar and boxwood branches are easy to add, while bright red holly berries provide the festive accent. You can find these materials at most florists; 5 to 10 stems should be enough for one wreath. You will also need an 8-inch metal wreath form with clamps, pruning shears, ribbon, a stapler and a hammer.
Make an Advent door wreath from evergreen branches

1. Start with lemon leaves to create a stable base. Cut off the long stem ends and place the branches between the clamps of the wreath form.

2. Add a layer of blueberry leaves. Use scissors to cut the branches to the desired size.

3. Cedar branches can be prickly, so gardening gloves may be useful for this step. Cut the cedar into small pieces and place them around the wreath in each clamp. This adds a beautiful winter look and a wonderful scent.

4. Break the boxwood into small pieces and place it toward the center of the wreath. Use smaller pieces to fill any gaps.

5. Choose red holly berries to add a festive touch of color.
6. Gently insert a sprig of berries into each clamp. The stems can be brittle, so handle them carefully.

7. Bring each clamp through the green branches and close it with a hammer. Make sure every section is secure so that nothing falls out when the wreath is hanging on the door.
8. A beautiful large bow is the perfect finishing touch.
