Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, this lamp was his first lighting project for Kartell.
The thousand facets of the PLANET lamp
The shiny surface is made from polycarbonate resin. Its facets diffuse the light in irregular directions, filtering it through the transparent material. The result is striking: the sphere has the look of crystal.
The lamp by Tokujin Yoshioka, presented at the Salone del Mobile in 2015, is available in two table versions, with and without a stem, as well as a suspension version.
