The living room has minimalist decor, with a sitting area and fireplace stripped of frills. The bench and chairs could almost be headed for a showroom. Sometimes the best entertainment is simply the view outside.

This house was selected in 2015 by the Royal Institute of British Architects as one of the 23 most impressive new homes in Britain and was among the homes considered for the Manser Medal. The award is given annually to the best architect-designed home.
