These creative wooden bicycles were designed by French designers Thierry Boltz and Claude Saos of BSG Bikes. The "WOOD.b" wooden bicycle was conceived as a high-quality bike shaped by a passion for cycling. The design uses a unique construction system. It keeps the functional elements of a traditional bicycle, but replaces the usual metal frame with real wood veneer.

There are no steel tubes in the wooden frame. Part of the frame is made of beech plywood and acts as an architectural structure, while Columbus-brand steel parts and other mechanical elements are added. This allows the bicycles to be fully customized.
