The Liz chair by Claudio Bellini for Walter Knoll is reduced to the essentials. Dynamic lines define its silhouette, emphasized by contrasting piping. Beneath the fabric or leather cover, an elastic textile stretches across the seat and back, supported by a delicate frame. Originally developed for aviation, this high-tech material gives the chair its lightness and comfort, recalling the innovation of Walter Knoll’s Antimott armchair with coil springs from the 1930s. Liz is available with or without armrests, and the cover is removable.
