Normally, we imagine a bench as a rustic piece of furniture for the kitchen or garden. But the talented designer Colin Tiyani recently introduced a modern plastic seat with a smooth, shiny surface. The bench was designed as a feminine seat for a girl’s room; the shape is sweet, with many curves and a playful look. The delicate lilac color gives the design a trendy appearance. At the same time, the elegant look and silver accents make it a perfect piece of furniture for many other areas of the home. A minimalist interior in particular can certainly benefit from this piece. The seat is produced in a limited series.
Modern bench for indoors and outdoors
The modern bench is characterized by its polished surface. The high-gloss piece of furniture was modeled in a computer program. Several CNC machines produced the bench as a single unit, giving it its smooth shape and natural curves. Sanding and finishing were then completed by hand by experienced company staff. Ultimately, the result is a functional piece of furniture with an artistic character.
