The playful, unique Luno chair is the result of detailed planning and extensive experimentation. Produced in a limited edition of 10 pieces by designer Il Hoon Roh in South Korea, the refined model reflects current trends while standing out for its innovative hand-woven carbon-fiber structure.
Futuristic carbon-fiber armchair design

The woven carbon-fiber texture creates an ergonomic form that comfortably hugs the body. "Luno" comes from Latin and translates as "curve." South Korean industrial designer Il Hoon Roh created a lightweight metal base with a minimalist appearance, then used the hexagonal lattice structure to determine the final shape. The chair measures 68 x 108 x 105 cm.
Luno offers ergonomic comfort

Innovative materials and production methods make it possible to create futuristic furniture without compromising reliability or ease of use. Working with carbon fiber, Il Hoon Roh has created not only the Luno chair but also a table, stools, and a bench. The experimental furniture series, developed in the same design spirit, is characterized by stable, lightweight materials and a playful form language.
The designer armchair is made of carbon-fiber strands on a metal base

Beyond its reduced weight, carbon-fiber furniture offers other advantages: it does not rust and does not expand. The long, glossy black fibers give the material a distinctive look while helping solve many structural challenges.
