The Contour table lamp embodies tension, interaction and stability. Its S-shaped central axis is a smaller version of the coffee table base. The design objects required almost two years to complete; during that time, Cuthbert developed the wiring scheme. The combination of wood and steel explores tension and opposing forces as a way to create a stable system.
The table is held together by a steel cable mesh.
