A31 Architecture designed the "Into the Light" hotel concept for 100% Hotel Show in Greece. This charming hotel combines modern design with timeless architectural elements from Greek culture. The design team focused on light within the space and created sophisticated lighting effects that produce a pleasant atmosphere. The materials are also stylistically suited to the concept and emphasize the magic of light.

Natural and artificial light are guided by trellises, pergolas, and modern skylights. Different viewpoints stir visitors' emotions and create a feeling of warmth, security, and privacy. In this way, visitors do not merely understand the space; they immerse themselves in it.
A charming hotel where light plays with shadow
Greece has its cities, mountains, sea, and islands. This idea sums up the concept behind the design and the choice of materials. The "Into the Light" boutique hotel consists of five areas: reception, hall, dining room, garden, and suites. In the entrance hall, an impressive work by Greek artist Apollo Glykas offers a modern interpretation of shadow theater and plays intelligently with light and shadow.
The lobby introduces visitors to the concept of designing with light and triggers memories and emotions. An imposing 1.80-meter sculpture, "Reunion" by Yiannis Moralis, is staged there and shows art's ability to enhance the aesthetics of a room. In the lobby, the hill meets the mainland: stone and rusty steel illustrate wild beauty. The dining room blends classic and modern elements so that both the design and the guests feel at ease. Dried plants in a sand bed form a landscape reminiscent of the Greek islands. Water, inseparably linked to the Mediterranean landscape, naturally also appears in the scene. Below, a contemporary space with concrete floors, white furniture, and a bed uses indirect lighting to visually alter the room's proportions.
