What do you think of this comfortable one-story house surrounded by beautiful views and the magic of nature?
Modern cabin house in Koszeg, Hungary

On the outskirts of Koszeg, Hungary, architect Attila Beres completed this unconventional home design in a disused quarry. On a steep stone site between huge boulders sits this one-story house with a flat roof, wooden exterior and rooms hidden from the outside world.

This minimalist and elegant home has a rectangular shape and dark, natural colors. The design uses larch wood panels that create a sense of security and comfort. Architecture and nature become one in this project. The house took nearly three years to build, and most of the furniture was made to custom specifications. Vertical lines inside and outside are a cornerstone of the design.

This single-story house offers 110 square meters of comfortable living space, all with relaxing views of nature. The minimalist style is beautiful in its simplicity, and the smooth interior surfaces skillfully reflect the textures and shades of the surrounding rocky landscape.
