The wooden house was planned with environmentally friendly and sustainable principles. The interior layout was intentionally designed to make the most of the sun’s position throughout the seasons. The placement of the windows allows natural ventilation and cooling in summer, while capturing more light and warmth in winter. In this way, heating costs are considerably reduced. Efficient LED lighting also helps keep electricity costs low.

The foundation of the house was built of brick so the building would blend with the neighborhood. The rest of the facade was clad in wood. Inside, wood is also used generously, especially cedar. Although the house has very minimalist wooden furniture, the material gives the interior warmth and comfort. The atmosphere feels calm and consistent with the peaceful surroundings.
