Tents – Types and Supplies
Among the most popular camping tents are tunnel, dome, and geodesic tents. Thanks to technological progress, a sturdy camping tent can be packed into a small tent bag and weigh only 5-6 kg. The outer tent is usually made of cotton or nylon. A nylon tent has higher water resistance than a cotton tent, and cotton tents are not always easy to maintain. This is why most modern camping tents are made from polyester fabric. Their drawback is that they can warm the indoor climate on hot days. Traditional cotton tents, or cotton made with modern technology, create a much more pleasant climate in outdoor heat. Tents for more demanding conditions are produced from mixed materials, usually cotton and polyester.

Modern camping tents can also be coated with silicone, providing better protection against the elements. They have flexible fiberglass tent poles, large windows, variable rooms, and can be built lighter, easier to remove, and easier to transport. Then comes the question of tent care. Tents must be maintained properly so they do not become moldy or damaged.
