The modern residence by Arthur Casas is owned by Alex Lerner, host of a popular television show in Brazil. When he acquired the property in 2009, he had a clear vision for the site and asked Arthur Casas to design a villa defined by simple elegance. As an avid swimmer who trains several times a week, Lerner wanted a large terrace with a pool. For the exterior stone walls, he requested a gray-beige tone reminiscent of the stone at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

With its original furnishings, the villa is one of the most striking homes in Rio de Janeiro. The complex includes accommodations for staff on the ground floor, two bedrooms above, and spacious private areas on the upper level. Windows running across the width of the house admit abundant natural light and frame breathtaking views of the sea.
