This contemporary house was designed for a client in the Czech Republic and built in 2011. Openness and transparency were key priorities for the lower level and the overall design, creating a direct connection with the natural environment. The family home is strongly influenced by natural aesthetics. The building is divided into two parts. The first, or ground, floor reveals a splendid view of the surrounding landscape. The second part of the residence is larger and impresses with a distinctive roof form. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and other private spaces are connected by a short hallway. The design of the family home is functional and meets the occupants’ daily needs. Large windows allow natural sunlight to illuminate every detail of the house throughout the day.
