Green Architecture by Yoka Sara – bamboo and wood panels
The character of this green house architecture comes from the generous use of bamboo and wood, both left visible and richly textured. These natural materials soften the crisp white concrete structure and help the building settle into its tropical setting. The house is organized as a series of geometric volumes linked to an expressive central pavilion. Each sleeping pavilion has its own private garden, terrace, and open-air bathroom. Guests experience bio-architecture as part of the daily rhythm of this retreat.

The processional routes through the site give this luxury house its rustic charm. Water also plays an important role in the green architecture of the project. The central pavilion contains the living and dining areas, a studio, and a roof garden. With its vertical, linear form, it appears to float above the rest of the building. Slim white columns lift parts of the house above sparkling pools, bringing water directly into the green architecture.

This house was designed to be experienced slowly.
