07/05/2018 – House Le Querciole is a farmhouse renovated by NOW Workshop-Regeneration of Architecture , set in the greenery of the Tuscan countryside, where it relates to the landscape through natural materials and an eco-sustainable approach.
The aesthetic and architectural choices revolve around a close relationship with the rural setting and nature. Stone and wood are the main elements in a balanced dialogue between the house and its landscape.
The large windows frame the surrounding space and make light part of the project. Inside, exposed beams bring warmth and welcome to rooms where more technical materials are also used. The palette moves through earthy tones and galestro stone, creating a strong but balanced material language in which wood remains the common thread.
Conceived as a compact architectural volume that opens into a single environment, the house offers a hygge-inspired refuge for a young family in a quietly magical setting.
