Each crystal hanging planter is sewn from industrial felt and cotton threads, dyed with organic food coloring, and steam-formed into a three-dimensional shape. The crystal texture is certainly the hallmark of this innovative product.

The "bag" is filled with a slow-dissolving fertilizer. The plant fibers are natural. Plant and bag work as a system: the crystallized fertilizer feeds the plant, while the roots gradually grow into the felt fibers.

The young industrial designer Maria Bujalska opened her design studio in San Francisco. She was born in Warsaw, Poland, where she completed her studies in industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts. Out of curiosity, Maria moved to San Francisco and completed a master's degree at an art school in California. Maria is inspired by the play of shapes and materials. She explores the relationship between design and science.
