Easy-care plants such as Tillandsia and other hanging plants are becoming more popular. Because they do not require soil and need little care, they are especially popular with city dwellers. Hanging plants can be grown in glass jars and mini terrariums. In the bathroom, moisture from the shower can help water them. You can also try making hanging planters at home. We present some inspiring ideas.
Make hanging planters – a simple craft project for the home

Making planters requires very little time, energy, or money. You will need the following: the top of a plastic bottle, rope, spray paint, a cover if desired, hanging plants (sold in most home and garden stores), a hammer, and thin nails or another tool for drilling.
Try quick and easy planters

Follow our guide to make your own mini garden at home. Drill a hole in the top of the lid. You can do this with a hammer and nail. Apply several coats of spray paint to the lid until you get the desired color for the planter. Leave the painted lid to dry. Once the surface is ready, thread the cord through the hole in the lid. Tie the rope securely around the hanging plant. Then mount the custom planter by the bathroom window so it gets plenty of sun. Steam from the shower can provide moisture for the hanging plants. A practical misting bottle is also useful.
