The Atelierii interior design office was entrusted with creating a modern setting for a small apartment. The apartment is located in an older residential building in Taipei, Taiwan. The designers renovated the space with larger new windows and restored a small balcony so residents could enjoy the surrounding views. A clever division of space makes the most of the available area: the apartment includes a living room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and a bedroom with a small office.
Creating a Modern Atmosphere in the Small Apartment
Quality materials and soft lighting create a modern atmosphere in the small apartment. The walls are clad in marble tiles, while a full-height mirror in the living room visually enlarges the space. Glossy white tiles complete the restrained color palette. The furniture is affordable yet elegant, and the minimalist pieces suit the scale of the apartment.
