The project was completed by Antoni Associates Interiors together with OKHA Interiors, and it reflects their contemporary take on African luxury. Mark Rielly, then a partner at Antoni Associates, described the apartment as combining contemporary living with high design.

The brief called for a modern, urban African feeling, with an emphasis on rhythm, geometry, and graphic elements. Carefully chosen tables and small home accessories add color to the crisp monochrome interior without overwhelming the senses.

Innovation serves a practical purpose here. Multifunctional, custom-designed furniture keeps clutter out of sight. The designers used every opportunity to maximize storage without compromising the design. Tables provide hidden storage, while the elevated library reads almost like an installation.

To make the compact space feel rich and layered, the designers used luxurious materials with restraint: marble accents, high-quality herringbone flooring, and a sharply edited black-and-white palette. This clever use of space, art, and design has transformed the modern duplex apartment into a retreat for city dwellers. The interior feels calm and serene, guided by the rule of "less is more" while still leaving room for personal character and individuality.
