Mukou Leimondo Nursery School: Architecture is a Game in Japan

We are in Kyoto, Japan.

The size of these elements is a measure for the child which is the point and the protagonist of a parallel city making it safer and more environmentally friendly.
This is the plastic to the wooden buildings in a garden on the roof, which also serve as light shafts for the school below.

Designed by the Japanese architects Archivision Hirotani Studio, the school for children Mukou Leimondo features colorful classroom", with double height ceiling.

The architects gave the building the name "house of light".  The charm of the Zenith of the light passes through the fireplaces of wood, in addition to the classical openings in the facade.

The rooms and the interior are designed so that forms of the game, while retaining the line "Japanese", chic and minimal.
A wall is specially designed for the archetypal form of the house with a sloping roof strengthening the sense of the small community.

A chair mounted the ceiling in the games room, encourages you to think of Mary Poppins and take into account the totality of the active space and working conditions.

However, it is the light, that is the true main character of the game.
The children are capable of perceiving variations of these lights, the hunting, play with what is of the unconscious and the perception of the expiry of the time.

Mukou Leimondo the kindergarten is one of the many schools in the last few years, that have been motivated with a Playground on the roof. A choice in reality due to the excessive consumption of the earth, and due to the lack of space.
